This Energy Saving Powerboard contains a special sensor that measures the electrical current running through the Master socket. It then automatically switches the 4 Slave sockets on or off based on the status of the Master. Eg: if your computer is plugged into the Master Socket and your printer, monitor, scanner, etc. are plugged into the Slave sockets, when your PC is turned off, the other equipment will also be switched off. This saves a significant amount of energy and also prolongs the life of your valuable equipment. Furthermore, it will minimise the risk of fire presented by appliances being always left on standby. Ideal for Computers, Audio/Visual, Workstations, Offices, etc.

This powerboard also features a circuit breaker to protect your electrical wiring and connected devices from electrical overload. This feature cuts off power if more than 2400 watts is in use. To calculate total wattage of connected appliances simply add the wattage stated on each appliance and if the total is less than 2400 Watts, you should not experience an overload problem.
Note: If continual activation of the overload switch occurs, please turn off all devices and isolate the problem source. If the problem persists either replace powerboard or seek the assistance of a licensed electrican to find the fault.
